Question
I have a question. First let me point out that I am 18. I have a friend whose older, he's 24, which I don't see as a huge problem that's not much older. I think because he knows that I'm 18, he treats me like a kid. We share a lot of the same interests and can talk about a lot of things together . . . music, travel, what clubs are fun, or work related things as well. But I want to grab his attention a little more, though, than just friendly conversation. How can I show him, that I am a more mature person than he thinks I am? Thank you so much for your help.

Answer
without faking it, you can't; what you are is what you are; 6 yrs age difference isn't alot when older, but at your ages, it can be, and he probably thinks, at 18, you ARE, to him, basically "a kid.."..just appreciate it for what it is; if he becomes interested in more, he'll let you know..
