ive had four great dates with a man over the past 2 months he txts, flirts an we make each other laugh. hes slowed down on the texting just of late and said he was sorry he was just really busy. i have a xmas party at work which he agreed to come i wanted to take it s step further by booking a hotel. he doesnt seem to keen. does he like me or doesnt want to pursue the relationship. should i not contact him now untill he contacts me?

Sounds like he's backing off for some reason. Do not initiate something like hotel. Don't contact him again and see if he contacts you. Then go back a step or two, and don't be the one to initiate anything. The man likes to be in control.
