Question
I don't know what to do. I really like this guy at work...but he's my manager. I don't really work at the kind of place that something like that would make a difference though (It's very laid back). We hung out a couple of times and the chemistry was deffinately there. Then all of a sudden he was very stand-offish. I don't know how to go about all of this. I don't work with him very often, but when we do work together...it's deffinately fun. I mentioned to him that I felt like he was kind of playing games and leading me on and all he said was that we work together, and then changed the subject. I'm not usually like this with guys, so if I do like someone...I'm willing to take a risk. Please give me some kind of advice. Good or bad, I need to know. Thank you for listening! Jessica

Answer
if you don't care about him being your mgr, that's fine; but the bottom line is, if he's interested, it's up to him to ask you out; if he doesn't, for whatever reason, he's not that interested..so, the advice is to lower your expectations and just lead your life..
