I like to give advice to people that are doing the wrong things when trying to get a guy but it sounds to me like you already have him! If he is sweet to you and you feel that he repects and likes you and he treats you like a girlfriend... don't change anything you are doing! Hey,what i meant by he supposedly doesn't was cause one of my friends asked him. he always sits by me at lunch, when i tried out for the girl part in the play, he tried out for the guy part.. even though we didn't get the part... he feels sorry for me when necessary, but the one thing that i absolutely HATE about him, is that when he has problems in his sport or something, he brings his attitude to school. He's really nice when he wants to be, but he can also be a real jerk. I tripped today, and usually he'd help me up but not today! :( i don't know what to do. when i ask him who he likes he says... "football, shes SO hott" or "baseball she's SO hott" i don't get it!! when there was a new girl in school, he came to me and was like "OMG she is SO hott..." like whats up with that! he says everyone is got except for me! it's no fair! omg i'm rambling on lol. anyway, i tried to get over him today, but just couldn't. i've so far liked him for 12 years and i'm 18 now so.. most of my life. I don't know what to do what can i do to make him like me! no one thinks i'm ugly, so thats not the case, and he's taller than me,, and i'm not fat! i only weigh 106 pounds! and i'm not discustingly skinny!! i don't know what he wants, he says he likes blondes I"M BLONDE! ugh i don't know... please help he is SO SO SO confusing.... i follow him around a lot and give him lots of attention, just not too much. people have already started telling him that i like him... and he doesn't believe them so i'm not making it obvious... i laugh at all his jokes, i stare at him a lot but maybe i'm overdoing it i didn't think i was though... it could be that i'm 3 months older than him if he's REALLY stereotypical but i don't think he is. We both come from the same background and our parents know each other... we grew up together... MAYBE THATS WHY!? i don't know i wish i could jump inside his head and see what's going on! i tried SO hard to get over him but i just can't he's stuck in my head like glue! please help i'm SO confused...

Answer Well there are lots of things you can do so lets run through them.
1. You can let him know how you feel and hope he returns some of those feelings. There are easy ways to do this. First of all, you could have a friend tell him. OR you can joke around with him. Say.... You know, we've known each other forever, we should just get it over with and go out..... OR .... say.... I heard you like me, is that true??.... if he likes you, he should respond in a positive way to those comments. If he doesn't, you can just blow it off like you were kidding. You could also hint around to him.... say.... there's this guy that I've known my whole life and I really like him but I don't know if he likes me, what do you think I should do?... if he has any brains, he should be able to figure out you are talking about him and again... it will give him the chance to act on it.
2. You can play hard to get. This may really work because right now, he probably thinks he could have you if he wants you OR he doesn't think about it at all. BUT if you were to suddenly start liking someone or start going out with someone else, I bet he would get so jealous. Even though you don't want to go out with someone else, you may have to! Find some guy to start "dating" or even just start talking about some guy that you like. And be sure to tell him all about it. I would be willing to bet this will make him start thinking... but I want her!
