Hi, I am a 28 year old and have never been in a serious relationship. I am a bit traditional in that I expect to go dating before anything physical will happen. But it seems that there are no men out there willing to ask me out and get to know me. I don't understand. What can I do to attract the right kind of man who will appreciate me?
Keep being yourself, and believe in yourself and your "traditional" ways. It is hard to find men who are willing to court properly, but they are worth their weight in gold when you find one -- and you will. Hold out for what you want and for a man who is willing to do the work and behave properly.
Because there are so many women of the other type, men can get waylaid for a while, but your modus operandi -- aside from being the best policy in the long run -- will also make you stand out as special, and that's what attracts a man most of all.
They can get waylaid since there are so many women who are easy, but they start to get their heads on straight around the age of 30 - so hang in there, be who you are, and expect a real treasure to come your way! When you differentiate yourself as "the marrying kind" you will attract a man who is interested in marriage! It works. It just takes more time.
