hi susan
m a 20yr old girl doing my 2nd yr in college.there's this guy i really find cute and would love to get to know him.i would like to date him. we have common good friends and last week both of us got introduced.it seems the guy has told one of our common friends that m a nice girl and he doesn't mind being friends with me.our courses in college are different and hence it becomes difficult to see him everyday in college. i dont know what to do do that we become get to know each other really well to make the connection and become more than casual friends.please help me susan

Well, you are lucky in that he knows how to reach you if her wants to.  And that's kind of the key here.  Whereas many women do ask men out, we find that generally speaking it works much better if the guy does the asking. You could ask your friends about him indicating that you'd be interested in dating him.  You could ask him out yourself.  I suggest you wait it out and see if he will ask you out.  There is nothing you can do to get someone's interest if it isn't there.  Men can take a long time to do something, so wait and see.  If he doesn't ask you out, he's missing out on a good thing!  It's a good thing to learn to like what likes you, and not to pine over what you can't have.  Good luck!  Hope he calls.
