I really like this guy and I want to ask him out, but I don't know if he's married or not. He's wearing a ring which I think is a wedding band on his right finger...what does it mean if a band is worn on the right ring finger?

A wedding ring is worn on the left hand. A ring on the right hand could mean anything or just be a piece of jewelry he likes. If you want to know if he's married, ask him. Or better yet, get into a friendly "getting to know each other better" kind of a conversation and ask him if he's living with anyone. Today that would be more meaningful.
