Question
I really like this guy and I want to ask him out, but I don't know if he's married or not. He's wearing a ring which I think is a wedding band on his right finger...what does it mean if a band is worn on the right ring finger?
A man who is married and wants the world to know it, wears a ring that looks like a wedding band on the ring finger of his left hand.
A ring on the ring finger left hand means the person is married (or trying to appear to be).
Any ring worn on any other finger is decorative. It has no significance.
You'll just have to ask him, or ask someone who knows him. Asking someone who knows him is surer. Men and women lie about their marital status. But guys also lie about their buddy's marital status. You could try one of those investigative services. Here's one: www.thecloser.cc.
