i am 18 years old and have liked this girl for a couple of years.recently i have been seeing her alot, not as dates but like as friends with some of her friends there aswell. yesterday she split up with her boyfriend and i want to ask her out. how do you think i should go about doing this? and how could i tell if she truly likes me back? many many thanks.

Hello Matthew,

What type of guy does she know you as?  In order for her to perceive you as anything different than as a friend you are going to have add some exclusivity to your persona. Just asking her out isn't going to cut-it.

If you do the sort of things that she would excite her if she was a part of it she will become curious..
