Hi Dr. Dennis.
I would like that you help me with this: There is a girl in my class that I really like. I never felt anything like this before. We are good friends and I'm sure that she likes me too, but it seems that both of us are too shy to take the next step.
The problem is: when I'm standing near her, I always want to tell her something or make her talk to me, but I never know what to do. I would like to always get her attention when I'm with her. So, I would like to hear your tips about this: I think I'm an insecure person, what should I do to let her know me better when I'm with her? What should I do to look more interesting? I asking this because I never know what to say.

Hello Andre!

First off, you've got to get this outside of school or at least outside of class. Invite her to have lunch with you or to meet for something fun after school. Until this happens, you're not going to be able to move things to the next level.
