hi, my name's russell, and i've got a huge crush on this girl in school, i've known her for 3 years and have just realised that i like her...really badly...i'm with her all the time and just don't know how to ask her out...how do i know if she likes me...are there any signs that i can pick up on...please help!

Oh jeez, this situation happens to EVERYONE at some point, trust me on this one. LOL!

So basically you guys are already friends right? So that means she must think you're a cool guy to hang with at least. good stuff. Has she ever flirted with you? Given you any indication that she likes you? Some girls are just really friendly so it's hard to tell.

So this is what you do now. Figure out what you two have in common. And just be like 'oh hey there's this movie I'm going to go see. Wanna come with?' or be like 'hey i'm going to go eat at this restaurant tomorrow/next weekend/whatever. want to come with me?' be CASUAL. and if she says yeah, then be like 'oh yeah, do you have my number? let me get yours' give it to her and get hers.

so this way...you are asking her out...BUT...it looks like you're just hanging out as friends so just in case she says no, you're not going to be embarrassed.

and you can judge from her signals...whether you should take it to the next level or not.

All I can say is you had better ask her out QUICK. you shouldn't totally hide your intentions because you dont wanna turn into another one of her girl buddies and end up in the friend zone. why waste your time right?

the other thing is, if she says no, just play it cool. it's no big deal. everyone gets rejected at some point, yes even beautiful women get rejected by men too, so don't sweat it.

K good luck sweetie - I hope she says yes! and that you guys can start something. Hopefully she feels the same way.

And if she doesn't...oh well...there's like ten thousand other girls you can date.
