QUESTION: I am student and i live in Saudi Arab and I am from Bangladesh. I like a girl of 2 years younger than me. We used live together with our parents before when i was about 4 or 5. Something happen between our parents and our family relationship broke. Now i met her again after 10 years but how can i say that I like her and I want marry her.

Why don't you get to know her first? Just because you knew her 10 years ago means almost nothing. She's a very, VERY different person now. Don't assume she's just like she was.

Get to know her a little bit first. Maybe you can invite her and her family over to catch up and this will give you a chance to get to know her again.

From your first letter I'm guessing that you're about 14-15 years old. If so, you're not yet ready to be out on your own and do your own thing, thus, you're going to have to listen to your mother right now.

The unfortunate thing is that the adults had some problem, but you and she aren't part of that. Your mother seems to want to live out her problems with the other parents through you.

I'd suggest you talk to your mother and tell her that you understand that she and the girl's parents had some problem, but to impose that on you isn't very fair or "adult".

You can tell her I said so if you like.
