Hi.  I have not dated much and hardly any friendships with females.  My last relationship I really was not ready for and did not cultivate the healthiest behavior between me and my ex.  I think the idea of being intimate with someone made me more inclined to give it a try.  I tried everything for one more shoot at the relationship out of fear I would not find another one.  
Here I am more then a year later.   I have been working on loving my self more, exercising and have went back to school for a PhD in psychology.    
I guess my question is how do I go about transitioning from believing I have this beautiful partner in my life.  To actually attracting her and having her in my life.

I'm actually glad you don't have many friendships with girls. Being a girl's friend when you really want more is a coward's way out - and it never works.
