So, had the date all set up for tomorrow night, just got a text from her saying she is going to have to cancel because she is going to try to work things with her ex. i told her i understood and i hope things work out for the best. i will probably still see her at work and all, wont be awkward or anything, but got any advice what to do now? i REALLY like this girl, i don't want to try and interfere with anything that's going on. what's your advise? just let it be??

She cancels via text? What a coward! You understood her rudeness? What sort of coward does that make you? It's not like she just flipped a switch and now is trying to put things back together.

Unfortunately, by being Mr. Understanding and accepting of her rudeness you've ended your own game!

I'd have told her, "First of all, it's rude to text me to cancel a date. Second, have you fixed all the problems that broke you two up? If not, then you're going to have them all come rushing back in soon after you get back together. You broke up for a reason."

Then, I'd have left it there.

Mark, move on. This girl is a rude, ignorant, bitch.
