Ok, so theres this girl i like. We talk normally and i'm a good friend to her. But a few days ago i told my friend i like her and he told everyone. so now when i talk to her i feel really awkward. she says i am too much of a friend rather than a boyfriend. HELP?

The very first thing you need to do is end things with this "friend". In fact, he's no friend of yours at all. What an asshole! He takes it upon himself to out you to everyone else? End that friendship. He's absolutely not the sort of person you want to be seen with. It lowers YOUR value by having friends like this jackass.

Of course she isn't interested in you! She knows you were too much of a coward to go pull the trigger yourself (thanks to your friend!) Unfortunately, she's right. What do you want me to do for you now? You've made ever classic mistake in the book and now you want me to clean up the mess for you?

Here's the absolute best you can hope from all of this:

1) Learn the lesson. This is game-over and it's time to move on.
2) Don't become a girl's friend if you might ever want to be anything more with her. That's all you'll ever be the instant that happens.
3) Learn how to move things forward so that you don't have to suffer this sort of indignity in the future.
4) Get better (and REAL) friends. This idiot is NOT one of them, trust me.
