How to Attract the Woman of Your Dreams/Girl I Really Like
Expert: Dr. Dennis W. Neder - 1/17/2011
QuestionQUESTION: Hi,
My name is Chris and I'm 23 years old. There is a girl that i have known through a friend for about 6 years or more. I had the chance to date her when we were 18 but it only lasted for a little over a month. The reason we broke up was because of an ex of mine was creating problems for us and she couldn't handle is so she broke it off. The Ex is now completely out of the picture. We lost touch for about 4 years while she was at university and we both went through our own relationships. I have thought about her ever since the day she broke it off with me. She is the most beautiful thing that I have ever seen in this world and I feel like she is the one that got away. I would do anything to have her in my life. When we were together we had a lot of fun and got a long great.
We have just recently started talking again and things seem to be ok but never seem to go anywhere. We have a lot in common and I feel like if i get to know her more we would could have a great like. I also feel like if I never see what we could be together, I will never be able to live my life. If it isn't meant to be then I can except that but I feel like I need to know. Everytime we use to meet up there was this spark that was just there. We are now able to talk over BBM for hours and it just hurts me never having the opportunity to really give it a shot. What should I do?
Please help.
Chris
ANSWER: Hello Chris!
I'm absolutely on your side here. The worst things in life are those that we never took the time or risk to explore. Regret sucks ass!
Yes, you definitely want to see if you can rebuild things with her. Just realize that it might not work out. On the other hand, it might!
The very first step is to get the hell off of technology and get this into real life already! Chris, technology almost always kills off potential relationships. There are many reasons why this is so (and a ton of science behind it too) but suffice it to say that right now you're trying to hold dates over the internet and phone. You've got to stop that completely.
Call her up and tell her you'd like to get together for dinner just to "catch up". When you meet, that's the time to turn on the charm and start treating her like the girlfriend you hope she'll become.
But, you've got to get moving here. Be bold and directed and go for what you want. These qualities are like panty-grease to women.
