Hello Dr. Neder, Last week I scheduled a meeting with my male admission representative. I didn't dress over-the-top because I expected to meet a man. I arrived early and check in but he couldn't see me for my meeting for some reason. A lady at the desk told me that someone else would see me shortly. I waited and the next moment I looked up, I saw a gorgeous admission representative greeting me and she guided me to her office. We discussed majors and I completely changed my mind on my major because of her efficient evaluation of my talents. She give me a free tour with me and my mom. Sadly to say, My mom over-spoke me most of the meeting and tour. For a second, I thought my mom felt threatened by how gorgeous she was. Anyway, The meeting ended and I've been thinking about her constantly. She did mention that she has 5 dogs, she working on her two degree and has a boyfriend, who has met her parents before. I say she is 27 years old and I'm 20 years old. I don't know if I'm crazy to even think of pursuing her but I'm effective in impossible situations. I'm very mature and cougars/older women usually attract to me. I'm a caricature artist, portrait artist, poet, and writer. Any advice or recommendations?

That seems like a lot of personal information from an admissions representative. By the way; a woman that's only 7 years older than you isn't really a "cougar". In fact, the entire concept is rather repellent anyway; but I digress.

One thing to keep in mind: it's her job to be engaging and friendly. She's dealing with the public so you have to be very careful about how much weight you put on her seeming connection with you.

The good news is that you have some solid context in order to approach her. You can wait a few days and schedule another appointed with her (specifically) to ask her about something she told you regarding your academic career. That way, you won't get routed to some other counselor.

Then, speak to her and see what sort of connections you can find.
