Dear Dr. Dennis

I got to talk to a couple of girls, got phone numbers and started a rapport. But after a while girls become totally unresponsive to me. At times, they became unresponsive to me just after the first encounter. I am wondering what  the problem might be. What are the important characteristics that girls would like to see in men in the first encounter?

For your information, I have been a nice guy for a long time without realizing it. I don't know if it might shed any light on my situation.

Hello Farshad!

The first problem you're having is that you're starting the rapport phase way too late. You need to establish rapport when you first meet a girl and get digits. That way she'll be looking forward to talking to you and seeing you later on when you call.

The second problem is that you're likely waiting too long to pull the trigger after you get digits.
