I forgot this part of my previous question. What's a good length of time before a dance to ask a girl to it? The one in question is not for about three months.

First of all, if you're not building something during the next 3 months with her, you're missing the boat. By the time the dance comes around, it should be a foregone conclusion that you're both going to it - together.
Doug, don't want for the dance to get something solid going here! It's not about the event, it's about what you do with her NOW. This is a golden opportunity that you don't want to lose.
