Hi i have broke up with my ex just a month ago we were only together for a little wile but she got attached now i really fancy her mate we get on really well and i have a feeling she likes me however face to face the convo dies down as i really don't no what to say to her as im just to worryed about my ex kicking up a fuss.
i have not liked someone this much for a long time
please help me as im not really sure what to do and how to find out once and for all if she really does like me

Hello, Dave. Thanks for your question. I believe you have nothing to risk here. The key to not having a conversation die down is not WHAT you say but how you say it. Humor, teasing and banter is what makes converstation interesting and not necessarily the topics of your conversation.  

And again, don't worry about your ex interfering with your interaction with this new girl. Sure, girls tend to turn their friends against guys who they are upset at, but ... usually it doesn't change the mind of a girl who likes you, unless she is so easily influenced that she can't form her own opinion. Just go along with this, have fun and spend time with this girl and don't worry about your ex. If this one will like you, nobody will change that.
