QUESTION: Hi, I'm 24 and I've never had gf, and I'm seriously starting to panic about it, sometimes I go mad thinking about it. Everyday I read online stuff on how to attract a girl. I like a girl, but she's a boyfriend. I talk with her everyday on the phone, bt I can't meet her as she's in my home country. I'm going to meet her very soon when I get back. She and I both know that I got qualities that she looks in a guy, she's got qualites that I look for, we match so much. I don't want to do anything that breaks them up, but still I need her alot and I know she's the one for me. Though I have never told her in a straight way I have given her hints. It's the fact that she's bf already that stops me telling this straight to her. Please help me....

Nor should you tell her that you're interested in her! That's one sure way to kill off any possibilities of having her. Just the fact that you've alluded to it may have done this already.

Boyfriends are NEVER a problem - every girl has them. That's not to say that they're all real boyfriends however. Many women just have "guy friends" that are hanging around hoping to get their chance - which they never will. That's why they're "friends" - so she can keep them at a distance.

Further, even if she did have a real boyfriend it doesn't matter. Women are willing to "trade up" if they find someone that they feel is an even better fit than what they already have.

QUESTION: Hi Dr.Dennis,Thanx a lot for the reply, I'm enlightened by ur speech on the video. This girl I knew of, when I called her after a long time she said she has boyfriend but when I asked her about him, she said she'll tell me later and in her hi5 page also she has mentioned she's single. Is she lying? I'll be meeting her soon, how can I get her attention?

I don't know if she's lying or not, but as I said before, boyfriends are never a problem. More likely she just has a friend that's a boy.
