1 day in a science class, a girl kept saying how smart i look & asked howcome im looking so smart. soon enough, she then says that my hairstyle (mohican/quiff) reminds her of John Trovalta in 'Grease'.When she said this, she & her girlfriends were giggling (probaly taking the piss). Also a week b4, we were both chatting & she'd tossed her hair back using her hands (Signal?) whislt looking at me. is this evidence that she likes me & that i could ask her out without gettin rejected? we are both 17 yrs old & a week ago i asked her 'does she have a Boyfriend' & she said no.

I think you may be trying to read clues into everything you see. It doesn't necessarily mean she likes you, but it sure doesn't mean she DOESN'T like you either!

Here's the good news: you can create that interest in her! What you have right now is access. That's all it takes. Now, ask her out already! Then, when you and she go out, turn on the charm and be sure to set the next date at the end of the first.
