Question
Which relay runs the fuel pump(number or location on relay panel) and how do I check it (97 Audi A4 1.8 Quatro).  I guessed it is stamped #271 on top as it is the only one without amp rating on it.

Answer
The relays and fuses are described in your manual, or if the relays are under the dash, the lower dash panel normally has a legend.  If all else fails, the repair manuals you can buy have the fuses and relay positions laid out; I find the bentley manuals good for this.  Good luck,  Jan
