Question
My Audi trunk won't shut.  I end up having to slam it down several times before it will hold.  The dash light stays on telling me the trunk is open even when I finally get it to hold.  What can I do to fix it?  I've tried turning the key manually but that didn't change anything.  Thanks in advance.

Answer
I think the latch on the trunk lock is not working properly.  You may be able to lubricate it to get it to work; but it's possible that the latch may need to be replaced.  The sensor for the trunk latch is in the lock, so the lock is not properly catching.  Let me know what you find,  Jan
