Audi Repair/a4 2005 air bag light

Question
I have had my car in the shop at least 6 times for the airbag light.  Each time they have repaired it.  The last time they told me that if the light came on again they would replace a sensor that was 600.00.  Is there anything I can do to avoid such a high repair cost?  I'm just outside of my warranty.  I had them repairing it before the warranty ran out.  I may try to argue they cover due to the number of times I had it in the shop.

Answer
I would take this to the service manager, stating that the original problem was never fixed.  If this started before the warranty expired I would say you have a valid complaint and should get them to fix it free of charge.  Perhaps you have to involve Audi also.  Good luck,  Jan
