Subject: 2000 a4 1.8 windows and interior lights

Question
the windows on my 2000 A 1.8l are stuck down! also my interior lights do not work. it is currently at a mechanic that i have perfect faith in, and he said he figured out the interior light but still cant get the windows or sunroof to work. he has changed the fuse and relay and say that short of re wiring the car he doesn't know what to do. please help if you have an idea!

Answer
I need a little more info to diagnose this.  Any other circuits not working?  (Fan, etc)  if more are out then it could be the load reduction relay.  I would check under the dash, as there are relays and fuses under there for the windows.  Let me know,  Jan
