Topic: Audi Repair

Expert: Jan
Date: 7/3/2008
Subject: 2004 TT roadster top sensor

Question
When the top is up and locked, the top icon flashes on the panel and the windows won't close fully unless you turn the engine off and then close them. I had the sensor replaced  in March of 04 for the same problem. Any quick fox for this problem. Thaks

Answer
The end of cycle signal is not being recognized.  The same sensor could have gone bad, or for some reason there is a poor signal connection to that sensor.  The annoying thing is that the fix is quite quick, but finding the exact problem will take most of the time.  Good Luck,  Jan
