Question
I have a 1994 Nissan Altima SE. A couple days ago the stock stereo stopped working. Radio, tape deck and CD player are all not working, neither is the display screen. I assumed it was a blown fuse, but it wasn't. What else could it be?

Thanks.

Answer
system is probably blown. you might check with a volt meter, to be sure power is actually getting to radio. this is done by sharpening meter test probe tips very sharp, and piercing the wires at radio. if power is found, radio is bad. if no power is found, you probably have a burned 'fusible link', which is a section of specific sized wire acting as a fuse. these can be replaced, but be sure to get from auto parts place the exact same type link. normally, it's not worth it to have a stock system repaired. hope this helps, g........
