Question
Dear Ernesto
I have a 1995 FORD Windstar LX van with  the AM/FM CD player installed.  I purchased an after market AM/FM CD payer because the current CD player is not working properly.  I purchased the wiring harness kit for this van (premium sound system because it had the extra 8 pin connector).  When I removed the radio I found that there were five (5) connectors on the back of the factory AM/FM CD payer.  One is the Antenna, one is the std. power connector, a square connector with 6 pins, a rectangular connector with 8 pins and a small connector with two pins.  I followed the wiring diagram from the wiring harness kit for the power and speaker connectors (used the rectangular 8 pin connector).  The replacement radio turns on but there is no sound from the speakers. The AM/FM CD payer is a Altec Electronica unit made in Mexico in 1994.   Is there a wiring diagram for this radio so I can get the speakers working without running new wires the current speakers?  Also there is a remote speaker control by the driver side middle passenger seat.
Thanks for your help.
Richard
