I purchased this vehicle in Jan 05.  On March 6, the system was working.  I was able to get all stations, now all I can get is static.  The CD player works great.  I talked with an auto repair person and was told that it would cost $58 an hour.  Is there anyway around this.

first guess is your antenna connection failed either at the radio,(unplugged)or in the fender well where the cable plugs into the antenna. also make sure the grounding nut on the underside of antenna isn't loose. if not these, sorry to say your stereo is to blame, cheaper to replace than repair.       g.......
