Question
Mr. Ruesta,

This is my question:

I have a 2000 Ford Taurus.  The audio head unit is a tuner/tape player.  The unique thing about this car is that the climate controls are also part of the same unit.  Originally, I had thought about installing a cd changer, but now I think some sort of mp3 player would make more sense.  Do you have any suggestions for a cost-effective way to tie a mp3 player into the car's existing audio system?  I am not really trying to create a top-of-the-line system, I just want to be able to play mp3's at a level that will be on par with the quality of the existing factory sound system.

Thanks!

Nathaniel Zimmer

Answer
hi:
not only that  there is a kit to get the ac buttons and install a new radio the other problem is that the unit with the ac controls is not a radio is only a remote control and the actual radio is in the trunk  left side under the carpet
your decision to keep the stock audio system is good for many reason  yes you can plug any mp3 in to that car you also your radio can control a ipod insted of a cd changer

here is what you need is call a auxiliary input interface
