Audio Systems/2001 Grand Prix Radio Reception (last question was error sorry)

Question
"Hi, I actually have two problems with my Grand Prix 2001
1) The radio reception is very poor, especially in the winter.  I think I have the factory default radio/tape_deck.  I notice that there is a little wire just above the rear window inside the car, and the wire connects to something that looks like it is connected to the antennae embedded in the rear window.  When I wiggle this connection, sometimes the reception temporarily improves (not completely).  Sometimes this doesn't help.

I see no place for an outdoor standard antannae.  Can I purchase a new antennae?  Is this a problem with the radio?  There is a CD changer in the trunk, is that the problem?

2) My back left speaker works sometimes, and not others.  Again it seems to relate to cold.  Is there a manual that says how to check wiring on this car?

Answer
part of the antenna is on the back window if you can solder that broken piece bac in to one of the window lines it wil work again
buying a new external antenna is a good idea but you have to remove the radio to plug it in cuttin the cable is not a good idea
why will the cd changer have something to do with the am/fm reception  if is not original  but if factory changer  no
