Audio Systems/2002 focus radio reception

Question
Worked fine, repaired(by Ford) front end radiator and oil pan and now the reception is poor. Scan runs all the way through non-stop, disk won't read or play says error. Can slightly hear some stations, antenna cable is tight to back and button clip makes contact when plugged in.
Any clue what to check?

Answer
Hi Randy.
Sounds like an antenna cable problem. get 6' of wire and stuff the stripped end into the antenna socket on the back of the radio and check the wire over the hood, you should pick up something now and prove the radio is OK and it must be the antenna lead (somewhere)
