Question
i recently purchased a new 2006 silarado and i have a pioneer stereo/tv unit that i wanted to install in my new truck and a friend of mine told me that i could'nt install it because the factory radio runs the power door locks and the on star features. is there a way around this to were the on star will still work through the radio and the power locks will still work? please help and thanks!!!!!!!!

hi
if you remove the factory radio
the onstar will stop working
also the chime from the door open and key on the ignition warning will stop, lights on warning also will stop working
the dash cluster gas gauge and warnings will stop working
but there is a solution  you need one or two interface  please follow this link
