Question
I get a ticking/popping noise on all my speakers (Sony 7.1 STR -DG600) it happens in all applications TV DVD radio etc. during loud movies it is not as noticable. but with volume low it is real annoying. I have had reciever in for testing they say no problem. i took the unit next door and same noise. I took it 5 miles away and no noise. I called utility company they say incoming voltage is good if the noise is feedback from a neighbor this is my problem.  Is there a noise filter to install on the cb or outlet to eliminate this?  I tried turning off all cb in house and ticking noise is still there

Answer
I'm not positive what "cb" stands for - please clarify.

You could try running your gear though a Furman line conditioner. You may be getting some interference through your interconnects as well.
