Audio Systems/amp wiring

Question
I have installed a 1400w amp and subwoofer box in the trunk of a 2005 dodge stratus hooking up to the factory radio. the radio did not have rca outputs or remote wire needed for new amp so I installed hi/lo adapter from rear speaker with adapter rca cable to amp. i have tried several locations to run my remote wire to supply 12v to remote terminal on amp. I have all wiring correct and double checked all connections and the problem I am having is that my amp runs fine when my car is on accessary mode but if I turn on the car and let it run, my amp goes into protect mode and led light goes from green to red. If I shut car off and wait a minute it will work fine until I start car again. I cannot figure out why it only runs while car is not running. Is there any special wiring or other controls needed for 2005 stratus with factory am/fm stereo with single cd player?

Answer
you need a remote with delay that will turn on the amplifier a second later
it looks that it don't like the signal before the hi/low module most likely because of the factory infinity amplifier
solution get a hi/low interface with remote out 12 volt and delay
