how do you put a cd player in a 1994 chevrolet silverado?

and the 1994 is similar enough that this may be a guide useful for you.
I suggest you go to www.crutchfield.com and walk through their "outfit my car" sequence in search of the right wiring harness and adapters that you might need.
If the new cd unit does not fit the dash opening exactly you should look at www.installer.com which has many supporting parts that you may need once you have decided how to proceed.
