Question
If i have two 15inch kicker competition subwoofers at 600 watts a piece. Will a 1200 watt one channel amplifier blow up my subwoofers.

Answer
The only thing that will blow them up is a)when the amp is strong enough and b) when the volume is turned up too high an over powers the woofers!

So, just keep the sound below the distortion point and you will be alright.

C

PS: Make sure you do not overburden your amp wrong impedance match.  If the speaker voice coils are all in parallel you will need an amp that has 1 ohm capability - which is usually a switching, classD type amp.  Let me know if you have questions about impedance matching.
