Audio Systems/headphone jack

Question
Hi.
I have purchased a Panasonic TH42PX80u Plasma TV (new in 2008). Is there a way to hook up headphones directly, being that I do not see a headphone jack, or should I get a small receiver and go thru that (I was trying to save some money). Can I use one of the output jacks or somthing like that on the TV?

Hope you can help.
Johnny

Answer
According to the spec sheet by Panasonic this model does NOT have headphone outputs.

But, it does have audio outputs that will feed an external amplifier as you have suggested.  That would be the way to go.

If you shop google for headphone amp you will find many from a few dollars to a few hundred dollars.

Some of the really cheap  ones have mini phone inputs but with a cable from Dollar Tree you can convert that to rca type jacks on one end.

Hope this solves the dilemma.
