Audio Systems/tracking device

Question
Is there a tracking device/gps system or anything of the sort that can be hooked through the speakers?  I noticed some wiring that was out of the ordinary with what appears to be fuse hook ups that state "amp" on them hooked to the rear window and fed through to the trunk speakers.  I am completely clueless to any of this, and I have been having some weird situations lately.  Please advise any information would be great!  Thanks, Amber

Answer
A gps antenna can be a small length of wire placed about anywhere.

GPS tracking devices for monitoring car location, speed, etc. are now being used for parents to keep track of children use of the car, for car rental companies to monitor driving habits of renters, truck companies to keep track of the location and progress of their trucks, etc.   These are well known and legitimate uses of gps and 2-way communication systems.

But, I don't know what they have to do with the speaker system other than the wiring may be using the same run pattern.

Here are some ideas for you to ponder.
