Audio Systems/Car amp

Question
Hello I recenly bought a Kicker L5 12 "Model #: KKR   08S12L52 sub. Its RMS power is 600 watts, and its peak power range is 799 watts.

My question is, what amplifier best fits my needs for this sub.

Answer
Nice speaker. I like Kicker products.

Pay no attention to the power ratings on loudspeakers; they mean little.  The most important thing to know about a speaker is its sensitivity and impedance (and maybe the low frequency resonance).

You can drive this speaker with any good amp that has an impedance rating of 2 ohms (The dual 4 ohm voice coil when connected in parallel will give you a 2 ohm load).

I don't make specific equipment recommendations because there are so many subjective factors involved.  But, in your case, just about any quality amp with the right impedance match and 100 watts or more will do the job.

Good Luck,
C
