Audio Systems/Loudness Vs. power

Question
Hi does the more watts an amplifier has mean it will sound louder or does it mean it will take any decibel level a farther distances.

Answer
It is not a good question.  Power out of an amplifier is merely the amount of electrical power that it will produce under the loading specified by the power rating.

The amount of "sound" out is a function of the transducer or speaker attached to the amplifier and its efficiency or sensitivity.

The distance a sound will travel is a function of the acoustic space the speaker is propagating into the polar pattern it produces and the temperature and humidity of the air.

Give me a more concise question so I can understand the nature or purpose of your inquiry.

PS: You can google for basic sound and acoustics to learn these basic principles.  But, the radiaion of sound into space is an inverse relationship that in a free space the sound level diminishes by the inverse of the square of the distance.  Doubling the distance reduces the sound level by a factor of 4 - about - in ideal radiation characteristics.
