my mhc-gx450 sony radio shut off the other day and wont turn back on,it is plugged in .it is not even a year old and it wont turn on at all what can i do?
The first thing is to look and see if there is a fuse that can be replaced (look on the back where you make any connections at).
If there isn't a serviceable fuse, the manual says to try this:
1 - Disconnect the power cord (wait 30 sec.)
2 - Reconnect the power cord
3 - press square - play mode/tuning mode & disc 1 at the same time
4 - press I/O to turn on the system
This hopefully will return it to the factory settings.
If this doesn't work - I think you may need to get it serviced.
