Question
I have a 2000 Mercury Mountaineer Premier Edition.  The LED display on the radio does not work anymore, how can that be fixed?  I read there might be a LED board that can be bought for this but where?  Also how hard is it to replace this board if this is the fix.  Thank you.

Answer
you need to repair the power supply board that is in the top left side of the radio,
this board makes the power for the display and when it gets hot it burns the resistors and part of the board
you can buy a new board and replace it or send the radio out to be repair

this radio is made by pioneer any pioneer service center will repair it or you can send it to oemautosound they charge a $100.00 for this

good luck
