Question
I have a 1998 jeep grand cherokee limited edition with a infinity gold setup.I want to install a new head unit however,i mwas told that i will lose my factory amp and have to rewire everything...is there a way i could get around all that and keep my factory amp with a new head unit?

Answer
there is a small adaptor that you can wire from the new  radio to the factory wiring   and you keep all the amplifier and speaker
sorry i don't remember the part number but it is made  by  PIE and works with bose aand infinity systems  

call oemautosound they carry that interface and it is  not to expensive
