QUESTION: thanks for your reply - I have a radio harness which fits fine but it doesn't cater for the white wire with purple stripe which at present goes into it's own connector on the rear of the factory fit radio. It is this wire which i don't know what to do with I have tested it when the existing radio is on 7 it has no volts on it. i am told it has something to do with the PCI bus i need to do something to fool the car into thinking the factory fit radio is still connected - any clues?
