Thanks for your previous response (see below).  Although I have seen your other response in which you say you don't favor powered mixers, could you suggest an inexpensive one that would serve the purpose I described and allow me to use my other components?  Thank you once again, Randy

I am a singer and the organizer of a gospel quartet. When we travel to small venues to perform, we have available a Samson TM300 powered mixer, CD player, two forward speakers and a floor monitor, and four mics. The CD player is used for "split tracks" with accompaniment on one track and vocals on the other. I'd like the vocals and accompaniment track out the front speakers, and the same plus a bit of the vocal track out of the monitor. Can you please advise how to set up the Samson to accomplish this? Thanks.

Because Sorry, I do not believe this is possible with the Samson TM300, as it does not have multiple output busses. If it had multiple busses, you could assign different tracks to different output busses and do it that way, but the manual I was able to find online suggests that it does not support this function.

Hi Randy-

Something like the Nady PMX-600 should work well for you:

The buttons immediately above the faders are the ones that let you assign channels to certain mixes. The manual will have more specific instructions.

You may be better off going to a local audio equipment store and comparison shopping, though. Be prepared to spend about $350 - 450... this is why I am not too keen on powered mixers... they cost more than regular mixers since you are buying an amplifier bundled with the mixer.
