Question
Hello, i own a 2003 pontiac sunfire with the monsoon system. im trying to put 2 12's in my trunk and keep the factory headunit. it has onstar and xm satelite. i have already had a line out converter installed, now i need to locate the remote wire so i can get my amp powered up, i dont know where it is located because its not behind the headunit like usual, i was told it was in the ignition wires. is this true, if so where would it be located, when i get to it, how do i connect it to my remote wire running from my amp to the factory remote wire and what color is the factory remote wire. thanks a ton, Josh.

Answer
most likely you pick the wrong line out converter and the audio is not going to be clear it will distort and the low frequency will go down when the volume is going up
the pac C2A comes with the radio plugs ready ,it takes the remote from the factory radio and it get the preamp signal from the radio
you need this type of  line out converter
