Question
I have 2000 Jaguar XK8. When I fade to the back speakers I can hear the base (barely) at the highest volume.  The front speakers work fine. Can you help me??

for some reason the amplifiers in this cars are going bad
i seen this problems a few times and it is always the factory amplifier
only once it was a bad plug that broke and came off check the plugs if not  

you have to find a good repair shop in your area  or a service center for HARMAN KARDON
