Audio Systems/2006 Caravan CD changer not working

Question
Hello,
I have a 2006 Caravan with the stock 6 disc in dash CD changer, no cassette. I recently changed the battery, and since then I can't access the CD part of the system at all, I can only get the radio. It makes noise when the system turns on for a few minutes like its changing disks, but otherwise does nothing. I had no trouble with it ever before. The dealers can only say that there is no security issue with it. The battery was disconnected for about 5 minutes or so the first time, then I disconnected the ground cable and let it sit for about 45 minutes (while I had lunch), and it still doesn't respond. I've checked and rechecked all fuses (though I never thought that to be the problem) and there is nothing els that isn't working. Any help is greatly appreciated since my little boy is dearly missing his nursery rymes CD.
Thanks for your time!

Answer
this appends because you remove the power with discs inside the changer

what happends is that when the cd changer see power for the fist time it move to the first disc position
the problem is that it is on any other disc location and it is full of discs and it gets stuck

this is a manufacture  defect

happends all the time on all Chrysler dodge vehicles from 2006 to 2008

the unit needs to be open to manually remove the cds
